For well over adecade Kyle Watson has been working hard to carve a space out of the globalhouse scene for his own brand of house music. Drawing inspiration from multipleavenues has helped sculpt his sound into a unique style of forward-thinkinghouse music that blends ear-tickling sound design with captivating basslinesand chunky drums, melting together to form music that works just as well athome as it does in a club/ festival space.

Through 2015and 2016 some of Kyle’s early records like ‘Watermelons’, ‘Moments’ and ‘Don’tTalk’ pricked up the ears of listeners across the United States and SouthAmerica, kicking off a trajectory that broke him out of his local scene inSouth Africa and placed him firmly in the global spotlight. That journey hasresulted in releases on prominent labels such as Higher Ground, Realm andInsomniac with more recent tracks such as ‘I Got You’, ‘Magic Carpet’ and hisofficial remix of Sage The Gemini’s ‘Gas Pedal’ enjoying widespread success.

Apart frombeing a co-owner of the indie label Box Of Cats, Kyle launched his own imprintNo Context Records in 2023 alongside his wife. Both labels feature regularly onclub charts with diverse bassline-forward house releases.

Industry nodsfrom heavyweights like Diplo, Chris Lake, John Summit and Gorgon City havegiven Kyle the opportunity to take his music across the world. Fromworld-renowned festivals like Coachella and Lollapalooza to 15 000-strongcrowds in South America and sell-out headline club shows in the USA, Australia,New Zealand and South Africa.

With anever-refreshing release schedule, a busy touring calendar and the UnitedKingdom as his new home, Kyle’s upward trajectory shows no signs of slowingdown.
