Dombresky is here to make you dance…
Hailing from a small farm in the south of France, Dombresky (Quentin Dombres) is a celebrated DJ and producer known for his infectious, feel-good sound and high-energy sets. Drawing influence from disco, tech and deep house from his homeland, he has a penchant for invigorating, four-on-the-floor beats that are pure house bliss. A natural born performer who studied the drums as a child, Dombresky attended his first underground rave as a teenager in a field in Montpellier, France which ignited his passion for DJing. A few years later, just weeks into his first semester at university, he landed a four-night-a-week residency at a local club followed by a radio show, countless mix tapes and a loyal fanbase who loved his mainstream hip-hop DJ sets.
And then it was time for something different…
In 2016 Dombresky wanted an artistic change. His heart had always belonged to house so with encouragement from his friends DJ Snake and Tchami (who signed Dombresky to his Confessional label) – he moved to the States to pursue a new sound. He soon landed in his current adopted town of Los Angeles and released his breakthrough hit "Utopia." Since then he has become inextricably linked with industry heavyweights including BLOND:ISH, Armand van Helden, Diplo, Claptone, and MK, all of whom collaborated with Dombresky early in his career.
With jazz-tinged, hypnotic songs like 2019's "Soul Sacrifice" which has over 50 million streams and counting, Dombresky is one of Beatport's top selling artists, with an unmistakable vibe that sets him apart from the rest. His leap of faith into house music led him to milestones that most DJs only dream of, playing Lollapalooza, Coachella, EDC Mexico, headlining Snowglobe and Countdown NYC and selling out iconic venues including the Shrine Auditorium and the Hollywood Palladium. He has played at some of the hottest clubs in Ibiza and Dubai and – in April 2024 – will wrap his 18-city North American tour, LIFT OFF, in honor of his 2023 single of the same name. He recently released two collaborations with JADED: "All For You" and "Sound of the Drums."
While his favorite place remains on stage making people happy, he also broadcasts Process Radio – which spotlights his sets, the best new dance music from around the world and exclusive guest mixes – and won an Electronic Dance Music Award for Best Radio Show. To expand the Process brand, Dombresky launched Process Records, which allows him to take ownership of his masters and mentor up-and-coming talents. It's Dombresky's world – we're just dancing in it.
