Electric Island is committed to the safety of fans, artists, and staff. Please note: we will be requiring all attendees and staff at Electric Island to provide proof prior to entering the venue of either full vaccination against COVID-19 (at least two weeks after the final dose), OR a negative COVID-19 test within 48 hours before entry. Ticket holders have been emailed with additional details.

Following Step 3 protocols from the Ontario Government, face masks are required, except when you are eating or drinking.


Entrance Policy FAQ

Who will check vaccination status or negative COVID-19 diagnostic test at the entry?

At entry, Event Staff will validate your negative COVID-19 diagnostic test results OR vaccine proof. It is important that you bring a print, photocopy, or mobile download of your proof before arriving for quick processing. Test results must be dated and time-stamped to be accepted. The name of the person, the date of last vaccination shot or test and a matching government issued photo-ID must be made available at time of entry.

I am ineligible for vaccination due to underlying health conditions, am I unable to attend the event?

We require proof of a negative COVID-19 test or proof of vaccination. Unvaccinated fans with a valid medical restriction will be required to provide printed proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test taken within 48 hours of arriving at the venue, prior to entering the venue.

Do you require a specific type of COVID-19 diagnostic test?

Electric Island requires proof of either a negative PCR or POC molecular diagnostic or rapid COVID-19 antigen screening test. Rapid antigen tests are available for booking at most Shoppers Drug Mart locations. A free Ontario PCR test will also be accepted.

We require an official lab result. Self administered rapid tests are not an accepted form of proof.

What if I would rather get a refund?

If you are unable to meet these guidelines and need to refund your ticket, please contact Ticketweb support at help@ticketweb.ca and provide your purchase confirmation number to them. For tickets purchased through any resale or third-party site, please reach out to your point of purchase directly.

Why the change in policy?

We are working with artists to ensure we are reopening in the best way possible for staff, artists, crew, fans, and communities at large. We believe it’s much better to take these precautions so we can enjoy shows together, than to go back to no shows at all.

I have received my first COVID-19 vaccination dose, will my first dose vaccination card be accepted at entry?

Proof of full vaccination requires the last vaccination dose to be administered at least two weeks prior to the event date. If your dose is from a vaccine series that requires two doses, full vaccination status requirement would be met only 14 days after the second dose. For those guests who have only received the first of two doses, proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test will be required, and taken within 48 hours prior to the event date.

How soon to the event date should I take a COVID-19 diagnostic test?

We require proof of a negative COVID-19 diagnostic test to be taken within 48 hours prior to the event date.

Will proof of my vaccination status or negative COVID-19 diagnostic test be kept on file?

No. You will simply show your proof of a negative COVID-19 test result or full vaccination prior to entry. This information will not be collected or stored in any way. If you attend another show in the future you will need to bring your current verification info with you again.

As the ticket purchaser, am I certifying all individuals in my party attending Electric Island will meet the entrance requirements?

Yes. As the ticket purchaser you certify all members of your party will follow the Health Check requirements as listed above. Anyone who shows up to the event without proper health check verification will not be admitted entry.

Will event staff follow the same Health Check protocol as fans?

Yes. All venue staff, vendors and concessionaires will be required to follow the same onsite Health Check requirements as fans. We are all in this together and working by the same guidelines.
